About Us
Established in 1972, and formerly known as Unicraft Furnishing & Joinery Works Ltd, this family run business now in its second generation is pleased to offer our services as Unicraft Flooring Contractors Ltd. We carry out all types of floorcovering installation including carpets, carpet tiles, safety flooring for commercial and industrial installations including wetrooms, linoleum, timber, laminates, antistatic for laboratory and clean rooms. We are also installers of internal hygienic wall cladding.
Geographically we specialise extensively in the commercial market throughout the South West area, covering New Build, Refurbishment, Blue Chip, Retail, Private Sector and Local Authority e.g. Education and Health.
We employ fully qualified Flooring Installation Technicians. Our staff are trained to a high standard and hold NVQ Level 2 flooring qualifications. They are CSCS registered, and DBS checked. We have an excellent staff retention record with most of our staff being employed by us for over 10 years.
Unicraft Flooring Contractors have a first-rate Health & Safety record. We update our Safety Policy document frequently to accommodate new legislation linked via work safe accreditations such as SMAS, Builder’s Profile and Constructionline. We endeavour to always use the best possible products for our clients maintaining environmental and sustainability as our top priorities. We are licensed carriers of waste and dispose of all our waste in a responsible manner using the services of a professional waste contractor.
